Where there is no vision, the people perish - Proverbs 29:18
Having a vision for the future is a fundamental element to achieving success in life. Life is filled with opportunity but also an equal amount of distractions. There are so many inspiring examples of people who have had a vision and then achieved exactly that. Look at Thomas Edison, he failed over 1000 times at inventing the first lightbulb, he was mocked and told that he was "too stupid to learn anything" but even in his failure he finally succeeded. Today, everyone has lightbulbs in their house. Imagine if this man gave up on the 999th attempt and said "this won't work." How many of us would have pursued this until we succeeded? See, often we fail before we experience success. This is a fact of life. But how we view failure determines our level of success. Many people stay in the "failure state" and in turn don't achieve anything substantial. Where as some people turn failure into stepping stones and learning experiences to achieve what most do not.
So let me ask you... Which one are you?
Our vision here at AMPT is to ENVISION the world to achieve greatness through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our goal is to impart a vision of world evangelism, personal purity, discipleship and church planting. This world can't be won without first having a vision.
Be a VISIONARY.
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
AMPT's mission is to inspire people all over the world to live Godly lives. We desire to see people's lives changed by the Holy Spirit through the working of this ministry. Christ is the center of our ministry. He is the owner/boss of our lives. We are only his servants to do what we are called to do and fulfill His plan for our lives. And through this, we hope to inspire this generation to do the same. Everyone has a specific destiny that God has for them. And it's a responsibility God has place on all of us to live that destiny. What an excitement! The God of the universe has a plan for our lives. We are not meant to walk this earth alone. Everyone is at equal importance. Whether you're rich or poor, young or old - it doesn't matter, God can still use your life for His Glory! Be inspired and keep your head held high, because right now the Lord and King of the universe is looking at you to fulfill what He has called you to do.
Now godliness with contentment is great gain - 1 Timothy 6:6
Seeing the results of hard work is always a joy to see. It's like a builder standing back and gazing upon the house he has built. The months of hard work has resulted in pride and joy to see the accomplishment of the end result. God is the ultimate Creator. He created us to re-create. He put the first human Adam straight to work in the Garden of Eden and instructed to take care of the garden, because if you don't work at something, how can you see results. There is something in mankind that appreciates results. None of us want to fail in life, but succeed. Many of us have dreams of something in life, but unfortunately some of us don't go further than the dreaming stage. It doesn't have to be this way. From this point on you can make a decision to put in 110%. You can achieve whatever you want to achieve. But there is always going to be struggles and difficulties to get through life's challengers. No challenge is easy.
Embrace the mentality of "the only easy day was yesterday."
AMPT is dedicated to achieving results. Seeing people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. People repenting from their sin and turning to Christ. A 180 degree life changing experience.
Remember, God's hands are but our hands, his feet are but our feet, His mouth is but our mouth.
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? - Romans 10:14-15
We are God's army to declare the message of the King. I challenge you to rise up above your fears and failures, and achieve the greatness of what God has planned for your life.
